The Impact you will have in this role:
Resiliency Automation & DevSecOps enables delivery of IT service capabilities enabling improved overall enterprise Resiliency through the execution of the Resiliency Automation strategy. This position is for a strong technical leader that will manage teams responsible for product ownership requirements, technical delivery and support for critical Resiliency services related to Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, Incident Recovery and Operational Rotation.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to define, program, test and deliver resiliency solutions on a combination of traditional and Cloud (AWS/Azure) Platforms using Agile methodologies.
Engage in direct application development activities (programming: design, code, test) supporting agile teams toward the rapid adoption of services, practices and toolsets.
Possess and maintain deep knowledge and experience of technologies and infrastructure, application development platforms, tools and techniques. You will engage teams to develop solutions, ideas, designs, presentations and to deliver results.
Evaluate requirements, design, and implement automated solutions that meet the needs of our business with a focus on self-service automation.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for existing automation enablement platforms and services and implement improvements.
Create & Maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines to enable Service Owners.
Identify issues with existing automated platforms and services and implement fixes.
Administration of our automation tools including but not limited to: user access, supervising environment health, performing application upgrades, designing infrastructure to meet capacity, performance, and availability needs, providing knowledge transfer to level one support teams, opening support cases with vendor and escalation as needed.
Identify problems and inefficient processes to develop creative automated solutions.
Guide new developers on their automation journey with a goal of adoption of our platforms and services to enable automation.
Evaluate return on investment of automation opportunities to aid in prioritization.
Establish ways to measure the value automated solutions will realize for our customers.
Promote the benefits of automation by contributing to communications outlining the value our solutions provide to the organization.
Lead Team performance and development.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or equivalent experience.
Talents Needed for Success:
5-7 years' experience minimum writing code to lead Infrastructure.
Experience using GIT for source code management and version control and solid understanding of gitflow.
Experience writing Chef Cookbooks or Ansible Playbooks to lead Infrastructure Configurations and Software.
Experience coding in at least one programming language i.e. python, ruby, java
Understanding of the Red Hat Linux Operating System and its Key Components
Ability to navigate and modify files on Red Hat Linux Systems via command line
Foundational Knowledge of AWS Cloud and Services especially ec2
Knowledge of Infrastructure components.
Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Desire to learn new technologies.
Strong leadership ability.
Preferred but not required:
Experience coding with Groovy
Experience coding with Terraform
Experience coding with Angular
Experience coding with Python
Experience coordinating the Chef Server
Experience coordinating Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platform
Experience with Linux Shell Scripting and/or Python coding
Experience working with AWS cloud services
Experience using Scrum or Kanban to run tasks
