    Position summary

    s a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

    The Impact you will have in this role:
    Being a leader within the IT Enterprise Product and Platform Engineering department, you will be responsible for our critical infrastructure protecting the global financial services industry. You will be part of a diverse and collaborative team with critical responsibilities within the Production stability team.

    As the Director of IT Enterprise Scheduling and Service Level Management, you will drive the strategy and implementation of our scheduling platforms and directly impact the availability of our products and services to our clients.
    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead the modernization of the Scheduling platforms across mainframe and distributed environments.

    • Lead the Service Level Management function and work closely with clients and internal customers to improve clarity on real-time processing completion predictability.

    • Bring awareness of industry leading tools/technologies to develop long term strategies.

    • Establish positive relationships with key vendors to ensure the best outcomes.

    • Collaborate with all Technology teams ensuring they leverage the latest scheduling capabilities.

    • Host regular meetings with Application Development and infrastructure service owners in each area to review status and address issues.

    • Ensure that best practices developed for a single product line (such as Clearing) are shared with other product lines.

    • Align with core ITIL Process including Change, Problem and Incident Management.

    • Develop the core components for alignment with support teams for technology lifecycle management.

    • Extensive involvement in audit and regulatory reviews as the leader of a critical governance function

    • Ensure that tasks executed by the team have fully detailed procedures suitable for review by both internal and external auditors.

    • Ensure that all engineering activities done by the team is fully in compliance with DTCC policies and standards.

    • Participate in multiple forums across DTCC as a key technical collaborator on topics related to Disaster Recovery, Resilience, Application Hosting and foundational services (such as networking, storage, replication, identity management, messaging, etc).

    • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

    Talents Needed for Success:

    • 10+ years of Information Technology management experience in a technology leadership and functional lead roles.

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and/or related experience.

    • Strong people leadership to drive critical, team and organizational transformation.

    • Good interpersonal skills and experience working with clients, senior management and working with regulators / supervisors.

    • Ability to work across teams to create partnerships that achieve organization goals, and passionate about building an innovative way of working.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate technology concepts to IT as well as Business Management

    • Prior Banking and Financial services proven experience, preferably banking, or Wealth/Investment Management

    • Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and client management, with experience in leading teams.

    • Strong abilities on Data Analysis and strong financial foresight- ability to systematically apply a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning to examine information, interpret results and arrive at well-founded logical conclusions.

    • Detail oriented, excellent at follow-through on actions, able to prioritize and focus on most urgent tasks.

    • Familiarity with SDLC management & Agile

    • Experience initiating and managing Continuous Improvement Projects, driving to successful delivery of improvements.

    • Deep understanding of Mainframe delivery and distributed hosting, network, storage, messaging, identity management, encryption

    • Must have experience with all aspects of Resilient data center management: multi-Region configuration, Disaster Recovery testing, and managing replication.

    The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
