    The Impact you will have in this role:

    Being a member of the Enterprise Services business unit, the Enterprise Resiliency Office Executive Director is responsible for ensuring the organization's ability to withstand and rapidly recover from incidents and disruptions. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies to fortify the firm's operational resilience, safeguarding critical processes, technology, assets, products, and services, to enhance collaborator trust and confidence.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop enterprise resilience strategies through identification and analysis of business operating models, functional strategies, and operational initiatives.

    • Drive operational resilience efforts across the enterprise, including but not limited to: Documenting critical services and working with collaborators to maintain disruption tolerances and identify potential disruption scenarios.

    • Managing disruption planning and recovery objectives.

    • Partnering with Business Continuity colleagues to drive scenario testing, and mock major incident scenarios, to prepare cross functional teams and ensure service resiliency.

    • Build, manage, and mentor regional team(s) to manage enterprise incident responses, including:

    • Ensuring alignment between technical and business collaborators.

    • Determining incident severity and business and/or executive critical issue.

    • Driving internal and external communication, ensuring that messages are targeted, consistent, thoughtful, and timely for all major incidents.

    • Coordinating incident root cause analysis and generating post-mortem / lessons learned outputs.

    • Maintain relationships with cross-functional business leaders within and across regions to reinforce resiliency and to ensure the ERO understands the resiliency concerns of each business.

    • Collaborate with the Crisis Management Team during crises, including coordination with multiple functions and C-Suite members.

    • Act as a decision maker on time-sensitive external communications to clients, board, and industry associations on high severity incidents in region. • Oversee firm-wide enterprise resiliency. projects and drive continuous improvement of the ERO's people, processes, and tooling.

    • Lead and develop ERO team members across region(s) (North America or APAC / EMEA), encouraging a collaborative and inclusive team environment to cultivate a high-performance culture.

    • Participate in industry and functional seminars, industry working groups, and trainings to ensure DTCC is delivering outstanding incident responses and act as a thought leader to clients and internal partners.

    • Fosters a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 15 years of related experience.

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

    Talents Needed for Success:

    • Minimum of 15 years of related experience in Product, Operations, Incident Response, or other first line risk teams.

    • Relevant master's degree (e.g., MBA) or certification preferred or equivalent experience.

    • Excellent verbal and written communicator who is comfortable navigating legal, technical, and business concepts.

    • Competent and confident during a crisis and able to work under pressure.

    • Experience defining and leading operational resilience within a complex organization, within the financial services industry.

    • Experience managing a diverse range and seniority of partners through critical business issues and/or active incidents or crises (e.g., running a client-facing enterprise incident response function).

    • Knowledge of derivatives and securities market practices, treasury markets, clearing mandates for financial services participants.

    • Familiar with DTCC products / services and its role in capital markets.

    • Proven experience in leading and managing teams.

    The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
