    The Impact you will have in this role:

    As the Financial Systems Business Lead, Executive Director, you will lead the development and implementation of the finance systems vision and strategy for the Finance organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between Finance and IT functions and leading to the development and implementation of a Finance-wide systems vision and data strategy. This role involves working closely with the Finance Leadership team to set the strategy and architect the systems and solutions necessary for execution. You will also establish a comprehensive Finance data strategy with a focus on ensuring alignment and adherence to our enterprise data management standards while driving operational efficiency through automation and adoption of technology tools.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • In support of the Finance organization, you will drive the design and build of DTCC's financial systems architecture, while ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and industry standard methodologies. This includes defining the strategy and roadmaps, developing product requirements and specifications based on feedback, and communicating data-driven narratives.

    • You will play a meaningful role collaborating across the Finance and IT teams to ensure systems scalability, automation and efficiency while addressing challenges, risks and constraints.

    • Establish and develop a cohesive financial systems and data capabilities strategy for the Finance organization with input and alignment from other key collaborator groups across the firm.

    • Collaborate with the broader IT organization to lead the functional design and delivery of systems projects and data initiatives, ensuring successful delivery and alignment to the overall strategy.

    • Develop a multi-year execution strategy which illustrates our functional systems craft along with a framework to drive prioritization across the portfolio of initiatives.

    • Support the IT development process by defining partner requirements and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget which are aligned to the overall strategy.

    • Define, estimate, plan and develop cases (in partnership with the Finance leadership team) for each component of the strategy, ensuring value and benefits being realized are clearly articulated.

    • Lead digital transformation initiatives related to Finance, including the adoption of AI, analytics tools and automation opportunities.

    • Stay updated on emerging financial technologies and their potential impact on the organization.

    • Stand-up a data governance model across the Finance organization to support reliable financial reporting and decision-making.

    • Collaborate with other departments (IT, Operations, HR) to ensure financial systems meet their needs and support cross-functional processes.

    • Develop a team of up to 10 individuals.

    • Fosters a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 15 years of related experience.

    • Bachelor's or master's degrees in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • To be successful in this role, the candidate requires the ability to operate both at a high level (such as summary/executive reporting and context-setting) but also technical depth and working at a detailed level with relevant processes, technology and tools.

    • Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance
