The Impact you will have in this role:
The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Architect, Design and implement Oracle DBs to protect the integrity of financial data to have 100% system availability.
Refactor applications and migrate them from on premise data to AWS cloud.
Monitor, Support and Analyze database performance issues and make changes to optimize performance to meet SLAs of critical Tier0/1 applications.
Develop and review the best practices of Database code including functions, packages, procedures, and Materialized views.
Modify, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries/packages to ensure consistent and reliable DB performance.
Data modeling and review of existing and new schemas with Product and Development team(s).
Support and scale high speed Enqueue/Dequeue of messages from Oracle AQs.
Supporting applications in Data guard, RAC and GG microservices.
Maintain security standards, Data Masking, Redaction and Fine-Grained Auditing.
Support Disaster Recovery, on call rotation and escalations to meet SLAs.

Qualifications:
Talents Needed for Success:
Experience with Oracle APEX, Grafana, OEM, Erwin and other Oracle tools
Knowledge of database administration tasks and self-service tools
Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira
Scripting Languages Shell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Awk and perl.
Proven experience in Vblock, Exadata and Nutanix.
Strong knowledge of PL/SQL coding standards and best practices
Experience with database internals, design and data modeling
Ability to write efficiently and optimized PL/SQL code.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
