    The Impact you will have in this role:

    Global Security Management is responsible for all facets of DTCC's physical security and life safety program with emphasis on developing, defining, and implementing industry standard methodologies to safeguard against threats and risks to DTCC employees, facilities, business enterprise, and assets. The global security team remains abreast of world events, unexpected crises, natural disasters, and geopolitical instability to identify, communicate, and allocate resources to mitigate potential risks and threats to DTCC. Security Business Operations focuses on the administrative security controls and processes that support the corporate security program, including the administrative governance of security policies, fiscal management, global access control management and pass administration functions.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Support the global corporate security program through hands-on execution of site-based physical security and security business operations activities.

    • Serve as a key on-site security resource for the Boston location, maintaining a visible security presence and supporting daily operational needs.

    • Conduct regular security patrols, alarm testing, and physical inspections to ensure the safety of employees, facilities, and assets.

    • Monitor and support CCTV and access control.

    • Serve as the local Global Security Management liaison during Day 1 onboarding of new hires, assisting with in-person ID validation, printing of ID access badges, and handling related Pass Administration functions.

    • Assist with review and validation of background check components to include pre-employment, education and criminal history, working closely with HR, and Enterprise Supply Management.

    • Partner with site leadership, building management, contracted security providers, and external stakeholders (e.g., law enforcement and first responders) to support incident response, emergency preparedness, and ongoing security operations.

    • Prepare incident reports, assist with threat assessments, and support follow-up actions to mitigate identified risks.

    • Update and maintain administrative security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with enterprise standards.

    • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency across security operations and administrative functions.

    • Assist with tracking departmental working hours and overtime, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines.

    • Integrate risk and control considerations into day-to-day responsibilities, escalating issues as appropriate.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of related experience

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

    The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.     About the Team

    Our team of Global Security Management (GSM) professionals is responsible for protecting DTCC's people, assets and physical infrastructure. When you join this team, you help carry out GSM's mission by developing and administering security policies and procedures across all DTCC locations. GSM, part of DTCC's Risk Management organization, provides on-site physical and electronic security, oversees DTCC's Emergency Safety Team program and delivers a range of other safety- and security-focused services, including security awareness education.
