    The impact you will have in this role:

    Being a member of the Enterprise Digital Solutions (EDS) Team, the Product Owner will translate the vision into a roadmap made up of squad deliverables to achieve the business strategy while enhancing value to the client. This is done through leading scope and the product backlog in collaboration with the squad, Product Manager, key stakeholders (internal and external to EDS), and clients / end-users (targeted personas). The role will support design thinking and process and decision modeling using automation compliant methodologies and tools. In addition, the Product Owner Associate Director will create detailed process documentation to support process reimagination and deliver best in class client experience by incorporating customer journeys across our product portfolio.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Analyze current state of product offering, defining business processes, codifying business rules by using innovative design tools and methodologies. Leads by collaborating with internal resources (Product managers, Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Development and QA Analysts) to create solutions that meet business needs in an Agile setting (i.e., scrum ceremonies, collocated team, etc.)

    • Ownership of the capabilities and roadmap of the platform from a value perspective

    • Engage business and technical collaborators to plan development milestones, release artifacts and updating existing operating models

    • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures and guidelines during development and maintenance activities

    • Assist in defining product vision and responsible breaking the roadmap into squad deliverables and release plans

    • Create and refine the backlog with the squad to provide the right level of detail at the right time to achieve definition of ready. Guide the team to decompose requirements into stories, uncover associated workflows, data and business rules as well as define acceptance criteria based on real world scenarios

    • Continuously accept or reject completed work, according to the acceptance criteria and definition of done

    • Seek feedback from partners and clients and incorporates into future backlog items

    • Bring the voice of the client into the squad and the voice of the squad to the organization

    • Cultivate partnerships inside and outside of EDS to maintain alignment to achieve strategic objectives

    • Evaluate shared issues, risks, and dependencies for resolution

    • Incorporate and prioritize work in support of delivery best practices (e.g., managing technical debt), as required, to consistently and effectively deliver on release objectives

    • Increase delivered value by evaluating implementation alternatives, considering impact of cost, schedule, and risk profiles

    • Conduct walkthroughs of products and presents product releases to large forums, articulating the business value and promoting adoption

    • Attend and participate in squad and tribe meetings, effectively collaborating and providing thought leadership to support EDS objectives

    • Develop sharp presentations (using power point) related to the body of work for leadership consumption

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 8 years of related experience

    • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

    • Hand on knowledge and experience in Agile ways of working (Kanban and Scrum) is required for this role

    • Proven experience in Product Ownership & Business Analysis roles in the past

    • Proficiency with JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Process Mapping tools is a must have for this role

    • Experience in creating high quality presentation deck by converting data/abstract ideas into logical stories

    • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in delivering outputs

    • Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills and experience in presenting to senior leadership in the organization

    Talents Needed for Success:

    • Self-starter with a solid ability to prioritize, own and drive projects, and quickly learn new concepts and frameworks

    • Prior experience communicating with all stakeholders (technology, clients, finance, integration, operations teams) to engage in discussion, create user stories, and consistently deliver the right products and solutions

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities

    • Knowledge of financial services operations and technology; experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations is a plus
