This is done through managing scope and product backlog in collaboration with the squad, Product Manager, clients (internal/external) and key partners. The Product Management group provides overall product development and business analysis for all initiatives within the repository and derivatives product suite. However, this role will be primarily focused on new initiatives related to the Trade Information Warehouse (TIW) product, a central derivatives' repository with record-keeping, lifecycle servicing, and industry event-processing capabilities. These initiatives will be centered around bringing to bear the latest available technologies to deliver innovative solutions and functional enhancements which improve the global post-trade processing of derivative products, improving value for our users.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Translate the product vision and the roadmap into squad deliverables and release plans

    • Actively participate with other members of the delivery team (Product Manager, Product Owners, Information Architects, UX Designers, Mid-Tier Dev, UI Dev, QA Analysts and other BA's) to create solutions that meet business needs in an Agile setting (i.e., scrum ceremonies, collocated team, etc.)

    • Work with the team to decompose business initiatives into requirement epics & stories, uncover associated workflows, data and business rules as well as define acceptance criteria based on real world scenarios

    • Manage the squad's backlog:

      • Create and refine the backlog of user stories with the squad to provide the right level of detail at the right time to achieve definition of ready (preparation for development)
      • Accept or reject backlog items, according to acceptance criteria, during the sprint
      • Seek feedback from partners and clients and incorporate into future backlog items
    • Bring the voice of the client (external/internal) into the squad

    • Cultivate relationships with the Tribe Lead and key partners to identify issues, risks, and dependencies, and maintain alignment to achieve product strategy

    • Incorporate and prioritize technical work, as required, to deliver on release objectives

    • Improve product value by evaluating implementation alternatives and considering impact of changing scope on budget and estimates

    • Attend and participate in all squad meetings (example. sprint and release events)

    • Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior

    • Foster a culture of dedication, teamwork, problem solving, and continuous improvement

    • Move projects forward by stepping into other functional roles (testing, iteration management, etc.), when applicable

    • Partner with internal customers such as Integration, the Client-Facing Documentation Team and the Client Support Team on operational readiness activities by sharing domain expertise on features and functions and uncovering operational requirements

**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **
