Essential Functions:
Provide engineering design for the layout of residential unit wiring devices, utilizing established Ruff-in Revit template. Create installation and production documents.
Prepare, maintain, meet, and manage overall project schedules
Work with internal and external organizations to develop specific product designs per project plan.
Develop conceptual and end product BIM content and capability with input from customers and end users
Produce 3D drawings for the Ruff-in platform of products
Act as a technical interface for prospective customers concerning their needs; interprets and develops Eaton-based solutions to meet those needs
Present product capabilities and performance to prospective and existing customers
Create and maintain project tracking tools, help set metrics and goals, ensure timely completion
Foster a learning culture, establish an environment for open sharing and improvement
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Technical Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 5 years of REVIT experience
Must be familiar with NEC code
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now and in the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Highland IL, Syracuse NY, or Pitsburgh PA will be considered. Active-duty military members are exempt from this geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering prior work experience in the design of commercial buildings
Prior experience using engineering database systems (e.g. Enovia)
Skills:
Strong knowledge of the Revit software platform, including family creation
Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Solidworks and/or Inventor
Ability to work independently under general supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel
