nd Eaton Global. This position is responsible for the short and long-term strategy, and is accountable for effectively implementing strategic plan and managing measurable results at the category and supplier level.
Develop strategies for battery and energy storage to align with business growth plan, generate cost-outcome result, reduce supply base and improve quality and service performance.
Initiate, develop and execute strategic initiatives for battery and energy storage, with alignment with BU leader, product line manager, also global battery category team.
Identify and implement innovative solutions to business problems, investigate new technologies and ensure has the right to win, independently and through high performance cross-functional team.
Negotiate and manage key strategic supplier contracts and relationships at any level
Conduct Supplier Business Reviews with strategic suppliers on a regular basis
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
Minimum 10 years of experience
Skills:
VRLA and Li-ion battery background, with energy storage experience
Fluent English, strong oral and written communication skills, have the ability to influence and manage people within the organization
Demonstrate managerial courage in driving actions and timelines to ensure success of projects and to avoid any delay in timeline & budget runs beyond established baseline.
