Key Duties:
Maintain and continuously grow customer accounts in the region.
Constantly engage our customer base through face-to-face meetings and regular calls to identify new opportunities.
Regularly engage with major customers, consultants, contractors, and specialist distributors by providing technical support, solution selling, product launch/promotion presentations and leading a technology mindset.
Communication to customers on the technical features and business benefits of a proposed solution
Sell into markets such as rail, infrastructure, data centres and renewables.
Coordinate trade show participation and write technical articles.
Quote against tender specifications and provide regular feedback on competitor activity.
Provide first level technical support on MV switchgear products.
Provide Value creation and differentiation to customers where needed.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of local sales experience in the medium voltage industrial industry.
Detailed product knowledge of medium switchgear is desirable.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels.
Trade qualification as an electrician or tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering.
