    Position summary

    m log test (first article inspection)

    • Being able to recognize tooling misalignments as product is loaded for spot weld and robot weld.

    • Performance daily/weekly minor preventive maintenance

    • Monitor and adjust the weld fixtures to maintain quality standards in Robot weld/Making minor adjustments

    • Ability to run the machine in manual mode

    • Provide support/training for other associates on machine operations and error recovery.

    • Change and maintain welding tips as necessary for manual and robot spot weld

    • Performs 5S & Continuous Improvement activities and complete tasks on the TPM board.

    • Train others as needed

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Basic (Required) Qualifications:

    • Manual Spot-welding experience required

    • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

    • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered

    Skills:

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending.

    • Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools.

    • Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail.

    • Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.

    • Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate.

    • Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.

    • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
