    Position summary

    • Lead cost reduction projects in design control.

    • Participate to component data analysis and failure identification-on supplier quality topics

    • Identify components in production line on request

    • Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the Company

    • Provide guidance regarding part selection, design concepts, specification requirements, critical components and alternate sources.

    • Quality review of the component parameter attributes from datasheets

    • Create a component database for all the Electrical/Electronic & Indirect materials

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years experience in PCBA manufacturing processes

    • Technical University Electrotechnics/Electronics Engineering

    Skills:

    • Good organization and technical communication skills to effectively monitor and convey component end-of-life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN's) to Purchasing and Engineering.

    • Familiar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts and manufacturers.

    • Knowledge of SAP ERP system, Enovia is a plus

    • Knowledge of industrial regulations like RoHS, REACH etc desirable
