    Position summary

    CI across Controllership teams and other stakeholders. The individual will develop frameworks, forecasts, and project delivery plans for the EMEA region, driving the organization toward leaner, more cost-effective operations. Collaboration with Controllership, SCM, Sales, and delivery teams will be essential to create impactful process improvement projects that enhance efficiency and productivity.

    This role will significantly impact financial results through strategic cost management and the execution of continuous improvement initiatives

    Build the CI Structure and Framework
    Design and implement the Continuous Improvement (CI) structure and framework for the EMEA Controllership function.

    Identify and Execute Cost-Out Projects
    Identify, prioritize, and deliver cost-out projects.
    Oversee planning, execution, and completion in alignment with budget and timelines, partnering closely with the PMO team.

    Lead VSM and CI Events
    Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions to identify and eliminate waste.
    Mentor teams in CI methodologies such as Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Business Process Improvement (BPI), A3 problem-solving, and Kaizen.

    Implement and Monitor CI Standards
    Deploy and monitor CI standards, including the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) and other key process benchmarks.

    Develop and Deploy Finance Process Standards
    Collaborate with al lfinance functions, SCM, Sales, and Transactional Delivery teams to implement standardized processes through Work Instructions.
    Ensure new processes are trained and embedded into daily operations.

    Train Staff in CI Tools and Processes
    Deliver training on CI tools and methodologies.
    Optimize value chain flows and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    Perform Evaluations and Drive Strategy
    Conduct Operational Assessments (OpA) and ECIS (Eaton Continous Improvement System) evaluations.
    Develop strategies and action plans to advance organizational maturity.
    Organize training sessions throughout the year to support Lean Academy objectives.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
    At least 5 years' experience in a Continous Improvement role and environment (finance/accounting experience required)

    Skills:

    Strong knowledge of CI tools and methodologies (e.g., VSM, RIE, BPI, Kaizen).
    Excellent project management and leadership skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Effective communication and training skills.
    Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), and other relevant continuous improvement methodologies are highly preferred.
    Excellent communication skills in English (other languages preferable)
    Proven track record on being able to take the initiative to overcome challenges.
    Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data so that the resulting comments describe the key risks and drivers
    Ability to look beyond an immediate problem and understand root cause and proffer permanent solutions
    Ability to manage stakeholder expectations at both operational and corporate levels and work independently
    Very good interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
    Strong focus on standardization and automation of SSC processes
    Proven ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at multiple levels up to senior level
