    **Customer Projects Document Controller
    **

    This is a hybrid position (3/2), based in Budapest (Hungary).

    What you'll do:

    The Document Controller supports Eaton's project delivery team on large-scale customer projects across the UK, ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and efficiently managed. This role suits a proactive, organised individual with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

    You will oversee document processes and systems, ensuring proper version control, accessibility, and compliance with internal and customer standards. The role requires a detail-oriented, process-driven approach and a commitment to Eaton's ethical, safety, and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Engineering Documentation & RFI Management

    • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to gather and align documentation

    • Maintain registers for documents, technical submittals, and RFIs

    • Prepare and submit RFIs and technical submittals, ensuring quality and compliance

    • Track and report on document and RFI status

    Operations & Maintenance (O&M)

    • Structure O&M documentation based on approved submittals and client requirements

    • Monitor approval status and resolve inconsistencies

    Asset Registers / CMMS

    • Create and submit asset registers aligned with serial numbers and technical specifications

    General Documentation Support

    • Maintain master document control registers across multiple projects

    • Drive continuous improvement in folder structures and documentation processes

    • Support project managers and attend external O&M meetings as needed

    • Respond to documentation-related requests to ensure smooth project execution

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Bachelor's Degree or recognised certification in project coordination or a related field

    • Fluent in English (C1) and culturally aware

    • Experience producing technical documentation (e.g. submittals, manuals) in complex projects

    • Basic electrical engineering knowledge is a plus

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

    • Experience with tools like CAD, Aconex, BIM360, Procore, and 4P is a plus

    • Skilled in document organisation and archiving

    • Able to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively

    • Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills

    • Structured, proactive, and accountable

    • Effective communicator across departments and stakeholders

    • High integrity and commitment to ethical practices
