Lead Quality Excellence Across Canada! As Eaton's Division Quality Manager for the Canadian Division within the Protection, Control and Solutions Group, Electrical Sector Americas, you will be the driving force behind delivering best-in-class products to Canadian customers. In this strategic leadership role, you'll define, execute, and deploy a comprehensive Quality Plan across multiple plants, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and operational performance. You'll leverage Eaton's Quality Management System (EQMS) to achieve continuous improvement, meet short- and long-term quality goals, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Beyond metrics, you'll oversee warranty programs, strengthen global competitiveness, and mentor future leaders to build organizational capability aligned with Eaton's Quality Functional Excellence and Leadership Model. What you'll do:
Lead Quality Excellence across the division by fostering collaboration, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring active leadership engagement.
Guarantee compliance with customer quality requirements at all division sites while managing key customer interfaces.
Guide Plant Quality Managers in strengthening customer relationships and improving satisfaction metrics, including CRR, surveys, scorecards, and warranty performance.
Champion Eaton's Quality Management System (QMS/EQMS), implementing prevention-focused improvements for sustainable results.
Provide hands-on support at priority sites using structured problem-solving tools (8D, A3, Six Sigma) to identify and resolve issues.
Manage internal and external assessments of QMS/EQMS, including Eaton's Operations Assessment, and develop actionable plans for continuous improvement.
Deploy advanced quality tools and processes such as Six Sigma, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Supplier Selection, PPAP, Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, CAR/DMR, and WISPER.
Drive critical quality metrics including Cost of Non-Conformance (CONC), Supplier/Customer DPPM, High Severity Customer Quality Escapes, Manufacturing Yields, and Out-of-Box (OOB) performance.
Support training initiatives to build organizational capability, standardize best practices, and strengthen quality expertise across the division.
Lead supplier quality development programs to reduce defects, focusing on critical commodities and strategic suppliers, including offshore and direct sources.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree in Quality management.
• Black Belt certified and ASQ certifications (Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)).
