What you'll do:
Responsible for overseeing Data centre commissioning across EMEA on behalf of Eaton Field Service.
Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities.
Support and train Local FSE's
Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, Drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary.
Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required.
Assist SIS with support of high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
Maintain direct links with business units (HPO) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing
Manage sub contractor teams were required
Perform Health & Safety audits of FSE and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained.
Qualifications:
Installer electrical background, suitable education/qualifications
Skills:
Proven years of UPS experience
Proven years of experience in the field focusing on Data Centers
Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential.
Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP an advantage. Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage
Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution.
