    Position summary

    rts to the EMEA event team leader and will provide support across all event-related activities. The position holder will be responsible for managing events and projects assigned by the team leader.
    In this position you will plan and organise events.

    The event manager manages the entire process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring events are delivered on time and to budget.

    Events play a huge part in the success of our organisation and you'll need to ensure that the event is marketed properly, and the expectations of the target audience are met and, preferably, exceeded.

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field of study required

    • 3+ years' minimum proven experience of delivering events

    • Experience in planning and executing conferences and corporate events, with strong knowledge of logistics, venue selection, contract negotiation, and on-site management

    • Organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and schedules

    • Leadership skills to direct teams and coordinate vendors

    • Communication skills to clearly convey information to clients, vendors, and team members

    • Time management to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines

    • Quick problem-solving skills to identify and resolve unexpected challenges during planning and execution

    • Patience to manage last-minute changes and stressful situations without losing composure

    • Be resilient and agile

    • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including sponsors, suppliers, speakers, and delegates

    • Nice to have: Certified event manager
