    Position summary

    of shell, isocure, and pepset cores for use in the foundries.

    • Perform minor repair, adjustments, lubrications, and settings of machines to insure proper operation of the machines as well as, produce a quality part.

    • Core boxes may need vents added to urethane core boxes and replace existing vents; drill only straight holes on flat surfaces as needed to perform these tasks.

    • Perform necessary duties to fill sand hoppers as directed or required for machine production and perform core box assembly, prescribed use of rods, or nails for core reinforcement, removal of cores from box.

    • Clean core and position cores in pan and move cores to designated areas and place on pallets.

    • Operate fork truck as required in performance of job duties.

    • Perform a variety of similar or associated duties as required or directed.

    • Detect and report all defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.

    • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.

    • Maintain visual measurements.

    • Follow prescribed or standard safety regulations

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.

    • Minimum one (1) years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.

    • Minimum six (6) months of fork truck experience.

    • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position.
