    Position summary

    e or as necessary, check for excessive heat, noise or other operational defects during lubrication.

    • Adjust stripping pins and squeeze heat height as necessary and perform a variety of similar or associated duties as required or directed.

    • Diagnose faults quickly on regular or emergency repairs; tear down, repair, reassemble and adjust equipment to avoid shutdown.

    • Operate fork truck as required in performance of job duties.

    Qualifications:

    Basic (Required) Qualifications:

    • Minimum three (3) years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience

    • Experience in machine repair theory and practice involving theory and practice involving close tolerance assembly and fits.

    • Experience in the use of measuring instruments and devices.

    • Experience in the sequence and intra-relationship of machines operations including the evaluation of pressure, flow and dimensions in all machine functions.

    • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

    • Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.

    • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Syracuse, NY (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience or the equivalent to Journeymen level experience.

    • Forklift experience.
