• Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve safety, quality and manufacturing situations in order to improve processes and meet external and internal customer demands.
• Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better performance.
• Coordinate and administer employees: HR incidents (attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions).
• Act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business Systems (EBS) processes and problem solving tools such as ELSS (Eaton Lean Sis Sigma), Operational Assessment (OPA) and 5S+.
• Coordinate with Human Resources in the selection, promotion, counseling, lay off and termination of employees using Eaton guidelines and policies.
• Monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure efficiency, safe and ergonomic conditions in the area.
• Implement, promote and maintain a safe and ergonomic work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents. Investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and manage risk and hazards in your own area.
• Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

Qualifications:
Education level required
Bachelor's degree required preferably in an engineering field (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related).
Years and area of experience required
3 to 5 years experience in a related manufacturing or engineering environment
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
Technical knowledge
Strong knowledge of fabrication process: Stamping, Die cut and punching.
Experience working with simple and progressive stamping presses
Proven working experience within Operations, Lean and Continuous Improvement activities.
Strong analytical skills and understanding of problem solving tools and methods (ELSS, 8D, PDCA, etc.)
Understanding of the business, its overall processes, BOM, Routings, Specifications.
Intermediate English proficiency
Proficient in MS Office
Yellow Belt, preferably
AS400 ERP previous experience is a plus.
Preferred: Valid U.S. visa and a current Mexican passport.
