Proficient in Mexican Customs Law, General Foreign Trade Rules, IMMEX Decree, and other trade compliance frameworks
Experienced in conducting customs audits, validating pedimentos, and performing risk assessments
Skilled in data analytics for Annex 24, including temporality, backflush, and balance reports
Capable of analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs), standard costs, and physical inventory across ERP systems
Expertise in creating work instructions, procedures, and policies to ensure regulatory alignment
Definition of compliance metrics
Stay up-to-date with laws and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operations
Perform all job functions with adherence to ELM
Qualifications:
Education level required
Bachelor's degree required.
Years and area of experience required
Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance operations.
Demonstrated knowledge of Annex 24, Mexico's customs regulations, as well as other government agency regulations
Technical knowledge
Possesses strong knowledge of the IMMEX program and Annex 24 solution, as well as Mexican foreign trade laws and regulations Experienced with AEO and VAT certifications
Knowledgeable about various types of ERP transactions in Mexico
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
