    Position summary

    ectrical product development programs.

    • Create short term & long term technology maturity roadmaps of Design for Reliability on electrical components.
    • Lead PoF-based reliability assessments for electrical/electronic products as well cooling system solutions used in data centers.
    • Plan and conduct reliability life testing, leveraging Eaton's internal test labs and external agencies as appropriate.
    • Develop data analytics-based solutions by utilizing testing data from electrical/electronic products in the area of reliability life modeling.
    • Provide technical menotoring to new talent on haldling the critical issues and/or project deliverables.
    • Reduce warranty defects through optimized burn-in strategies in close collaboration with respective plants, and drive problem-solving methods within the organization-such as FRACAS and Shainin Red X-in new product development and/or existing product engineering."

    "A. Technology Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with business stakeholders to align on current capabilities within the reliability domain and identify new ALT/test optimization opportunities.
    • Work towards creating the short team & long term technology roadmaps to mature existing technologies or build new capabilities
    • Drive initiatives to deploy risk mitigation strategies within the organization, including implementing problem-solving methods in new product development and/or existing product improvements across cross-functional teams.

    B. Program Responsibilities

    • Provide technical leadership on the assigned business portfolio by managing stakeholder engagement.
    • Plan project milestones, execute planned deliverables, conduct deliverable reviews, communicate with stakeholders, and support on-the-job development through technical mentoring.
    • Create and/or revise reliability deliverables such as Reliability Program Plans, Reliability Predictions, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Highly - Accelerated Life Tests (HALT), and Reliability Demonstration Tests (RDT) for new product development programs.

    C. Extended Responsibilities

    • Lead RM-level initiatives and contribute through meaningful personal value addition.
    • Provide guidance and technical mentoring to engineers to ensure quality & first time right on deliverables.

    D. Individual Contributor Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Design for Reliability (DfR) for NPD programs primarily related to data centers, ensuring identification, management, and mitigation of reliability risks.
    • Understand project requirements and solve problems independently through discussions with local and global stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate innovative thinking and instill strong rigor within the team to generate intellectual property (patents, trade secrets, technical papers).
    • Exhibit a continuous improvement mindset to deliver value in terms of cost, quality, and schedule."

    Qualifications:

    "Required: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
    Preferred: Masters in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics//Reliability engineering."
    Required: Bachelors degree with 8+ experience or Masters degree with 6+ years experience in Electrical/Electronics product reliability

    Skills:

    "• Proficiency in DfR process like system reliability modeling, goal setting, allocation, prediction, demonstration (life data analysis, reliability growth analysis & ALT)
    • Proficiency in reliability standards such as MIL-HDBK-217F, NPRD, Telcordia
    • Knowledge in FRACAS and reducing field/warranty data into relevant life and failure rate information.
    • Desired: Relevant work experience in the field of Electronics and Electrical systems for data centers.
    • Preferred: DFSS GB certified from reputed organization and ASQ - CRE.
    • Experience with any industry proven reliability analysis suite of tools. Sherlock, Reliasoft, Blocksim & Minitab preferred."
