Lead Negotiation Application Engineer

or Quotations from North American Sales Engineering team including Technical Application Engineers and Service Sales Specialists.

• Utilize digital tools such as Salesforce, Bid Manager, and other quotation software applications as well as assisting in process improvements.

• Act as single Point of Contact for Switchgear Modernization proposals.

• Develop Material and Labor cost estimates as well as providing pricing recommendations based on market intelligence.

• Provide and develop technical scopes of work along with proposal documentation.

• Lead technical discussions providing expertise for both internal sales team and external customers.

• Provide feedback to Product Line Management and Engineering Operations teams on process improves and product development.

• Assist in development, modification, and review of technical documentation and literature.

• Process internal and external orders and provide job hand-off document packages to operations team.

• Travel to field offices and customer sites to support application process.

• Conduct Switchgear Modernization training to internal team members and external partners.

• Mentor Switchgear Modernization Negotiation Application team members including providing quotation quality control and training to new hires.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of Technical Work Experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 10 years of hands-on field service experience, switchgear modernization experience, and/or proposal generation experience specifically related to maintaining and modernizing electrical power distribution systems.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• Candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC or Warrendale, PA. No relocation will be offered for this position. Active Military Service candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with existing field service and/or proposal generation work experience specific to our services.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
