What you'll do:
In this function you will:
Install equipment & instrumentation for use in evaluation of power systems products
Perform product testing to industry standards
Use computer-based test equipment for recording and analysis of test data
Organize test data and prepare test reports
Fabricate, modify and repair electronic assemblies and related hardware
Test lab maintenance and organization
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Associates degree in Electronics from an accredited institution
Minimum three (3 years) experience in an engineering or technical role
Willing to work in a high-power lab test environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with single and multiphase low voltage electrical systems
Understanding of Electronic circuit theory of operation and troubleshooting
Experience with Electronic component parametric evaluation
Use of electronic test instrumentation including digital oscilloscopes, power meters, digital multimeters and data loggers
Experience with setup and test for product certifications
Experience utilizing Electromechanical prototype fabrication techniques, tools and materials
PCBA rework, modification and soldering techniques
Knowledge of basic electricity
Collaborative orientation, the ability to succeed in a highly team oriented, global, and diverse environment
