    Position summary

    EATON is hiring a LVSA Process Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for LVSA products, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality, and scalable production from material preparation through assembly, testing, and delivery.

    What you'll do:

    Manufacturing Process Design & Industrialization:

    • Define and optimize end-to-end manufacturing flow for LVSA: material preparation, mechanical assembly, copper / busbar processing, device mounting, wiring, testing and FAT

    • Develop scalable production concepts moving from panelbuilder style to industrial flow

    • Support introduction of new products / new project types

    Routing, Standard Work & Process Documentation:

    • Create and maintain routings, standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions and process parameters

    • Define assembly sequences and standard times

    • Ensure documentation is clear and usable on shopfloor

    Workplace & Line Design:

    • Design efficient workstations for manufacturing process steps

    • Improve ergonomics, safety, and productivity

    • Support line balancing and takt-based flow where applicable

    Continuous Improvement / Productivity:

    • Identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, and non-value-added work

    • Improve labor productivity, lead time, throughput and first-pass yield

    • Lead Kaizen / CI activities

    Engineering to Production Interface:

    • Work closely with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Work Preparation

    • Ensure designs are manufacturable (DFM/DFA)

    • Provide feedback on recurring production issues

    Change Management & New Product Introduction:

    • Support implementation of engineering changes (ECR/ECO) in production

    • Validate process impact of changes

    • Ensure controlled process updates during ramp-up or serial production

    Quality & Compliance:

    • Support process quality controls critical characteristics (CC), special characteristics (SC), torque controls and traceability requirements

    • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions

    Capacity & Performance Support:

    • Define labor standards and process capacities

    • Support production planning with realistic cycle times and constraints

    • Monitor process KPIs and recommend improvements

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field

    • 3+ years in manufacturing engineering / process engineering

    • Experience in electromechanical assembly, switchgear, panel building, or complex industrial products preferred

    • Experience with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement preferred

    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

    • Ability to read technical drawings and BOMs

    • Knowledge of assembly methods, copper processing, wiring processes

    • Experience with ERP / routing / production systems

    • Understanding of DFM / DFA principles

    • Structured and analytical thinking

    • Hands-on problem solving

    • Strong communication with engineering and shopfloor teams

    • Ownership and drive for results

    • Continuous improvement mindset

    What we offer:

    • Performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 60,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).
