Selecting fitting size, and/or assembly operations.
Performing quality inspections (following control plans, reaction charts, SPC charts, etc.).
Puly continuity testing, gauge checks, machine set-ups, basic troubleshooting, manual handling of material and 5S activities.
Sorting/inspection of suspect material, processing rework, and, assisting other product lines
Performing other duties, as assigned by Supervisor or Group Leader.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic):
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical trade role or harness experience
Must be able to solder or attend training for soldering harnesses
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred:
Previous harness assembly experience
Basic working knowledge and experience with computers
Skills
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Follow the instructions for mechanical, electrical, and other safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
