What you'll do:
Evaluate and establish manufacturing costs, quality plans, and investments in new and redesigned components, equipment or procedures.
Investigate, analyze, and recommend alternate equipment and manufacturing methods.
Responsible for creating and following preventive maintenance schedules of all pieces of equipment on site.
Support ELSS / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy.
Reports adherence to PM schedules, OEE, Availability and work balance of equipment and maintenance technicians.
Responsible for compliance with all internal and external procedures and regulations pertaining equipment maintenance.
Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers and direct technicians as requested.
Investigate and initiate cost reduction programs within our equipment operations and maintenance departments.
Execute maintenance and facilities projects with varying levels of complexity by defining project scope, resources (capital appropriation requests, data and narratives), timeline and goals and obtaining appropriate level of sponsorship.
Implement, promote, and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents including prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules.
Promote the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.
Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
At least 3 years of experience in a technical role supporting manufacturing processes, maintenance processes, or related engineering function.
At least 3 years of experience in a technical role supporting equipment/machinery implementations, processes, and maintenance procedures.
At least 3 years of experience in new equipment introduction and modifications.
At least 3 years of experience leading projects and maintenance technician teams and contractors.

Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency with Eaton systems and tools, including VISTA, Bid Manager, AS-400, SWIFT and DMM
Knowledge of Eaton's internal quality policies and standards.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated proficiency in LEAN and Greenbelt Tools.
Strong communication, organizational and computer skills.
Effective interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, develop employees and facilitate corrective action while fostering an environment that supports Eaton values & philosophy.
Change agent with strategic focus and executive command.
Ability to work in a highly unstructured and ambiguous environment.
Extensive knowledge and technical expertise in ETO processes and engineering methods.
Extensive knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, and NEMA Standards.
Excellent Design Software (CAD) and engineering tool knowledge and skills.
Extensive knowledge and technical expertise in metal fabrication processes such as punch presses, benders and automated systems.
