3) Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
4) Promotes the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.
5) Champion key initiatives for the plant and utilize EBS to achieve plant goals. Implement ELS tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Setup Reduction, 5s, etc.
6) Work in conjunction with maintenance and product engineers, providing project and daily support.
7) Incorporate Safety into 5s activities. Update EHS Risk analysis for departments. Upgrade Machine guarding in Fabrication. Include EHS changes in Future state VSM. Identify and Direct Lean EHS Project.
8) Lead, facilitate and coordinate production support activities and resources according to established proactive and/or policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery or quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations.
9) Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
10) Demonstrate the application of the 8 CIF modules and support related initiatives on daily basis through establishing, maintaining and complying his/her Standard Work and other tools. Participate in Kaizen events, Lean Council and Continuous Improvement teams when required. Generate ideas for improvement according with the local programs. Implement and optimize Lean Management tools. Sustain the ELLS tools (VSM, 5's, TMP, STW, Setup, Problem Solving, Materials Management and 6 Sigma) to drive the continuous improvement performance when apply. #LI-DG2
