What you'll do:
In this role:
Work to standard procedures or written and oral instructions from supervisor.
Strong Mechanical aptitude as well as familiarity in reading schematic diagrams to determine mechanical design requirements and associated layouts.
Manage Manufacturing and Engineering Change Notices.
Demonstrate advanced computer skills with ability to learn required software (Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Design Automation, MAPICS).
Interpret engineering work packages to develop mechanical design and manufacturing information packages.
Address and resolve issues that surface with little to no supervision
Coordinate with different levels of the organization to ensure schedules are met.
Detailed Bill of Material reviews for editing and accuracy.
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects/assignments/duties
Qualifications:
Basic REQUIRED Qualifications:
Associate's degree with minimum 2 years of engineering/designer experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 5 years of engineering/designer experience.
Must be able to relocate to Fayetteville, NC. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering and design software programs.

Understanding and application of drafting standards and techniques (using computer-aided engineering software)
Capability to visualize components, features and assemblies in three-dimensional space
Ability to use required engineering software tools and other common computer software (word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, etc.)
