• Train, prioritize, deploy, and monitor Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) tools execution using a Rapid Improvement Event roadmap.
• Train, deploy and monitor Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) implementation and maturity using a roadmap.
• Drive plant roadmap for achieving performance excellence by manufacturing sites achieving World Class and Model Plant status.
• Build Continuous Improvement (CI) competency ("ELSS Professionals", "CI Professionals" and tool Subject Matter Experts)
• Drive productivity Cost Out and Continuous Improvement (CI) Project Portfolio, driving accountability in Cost out reviews, IDB's and others as required.
• Collaborate with other critical functions to maintain healthy cost out pipeline (supply chain/sourcing, Product and process engineering team).
• Participate and monitor Site Continuous Improvement (CI) Council meetings, work with Site CI team to adjust based on opportunities for improvement.
• Drive site self-assessments and validated assessments, and develop/review CIF and ELSS action plan.
• Develop the Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) maturity roadmap.
• Support Site Strategy Deployment Events
• Collaborate with HR manager to develop and implement training plan plant wide relative to CI elements.
• Collaborate with site's plant manager and leadership team to drive EBS thru the Leadership System driving and engaging employees in an integrated culture of Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
• Lead major product or process improvement / cost reduction programs to achieve desired results on schedule.
• Manage activities related to the personnel reporting to the incumbent including job objectives, performance appraisals, staff meetings, and others.
• Focus efforts of the manufacturing engineering team on meeting factory productivity cost out objectives. Specifically drive positive standard labor variance and favorable variable manufacturing expense variance using ELSS tools and design to cost initiatives.
• Full support and commitment to the Eaton Business System, Eaton Quality System and EHS.
• Support the integration of new products into the facility.
• Provide the technical support of special customer needs.
• Review impacts of possible sales increase.
• Identify and eliminate the scrap major detractors.

Qualifications:
Education level required
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Years and area of experience required
Minimum of five to eight years of experience Managing Areas in manufacturing environment.

Knowledge in injection and compression molding, punch press and spot welding Lean/Six Sigma Concepts and Tools
