    Position summary

    t and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining new equipment applications.

    • Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.

    • Advise C.O.D., Manufacturing and Purchasing - when required - in interpreting information for the accurate production of equipment in accordance with the purchaser's requirements.

    • Consult with the Quality Department in resolving issues after the equipment is shipped, when required.

    • Direct purchaser visits to approve or release equipment.

    • Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature.

    • Inform in cost and cycle time improvement activities.

    • Plan travel as required to support any of the above.

    • Conduct technical training seminars, as required.

    • Provide technical training and guidance to department personnel.

    • Analyze needs and recommend revisions to Department Policies and Procedures.

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • Completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

    • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering,

    • electrical and computer engineering, or mechatronics from an accredited institution.

    • One (1) year of manufacturing experience including internships and co-op assignments.

    • Knowledge of power distribution and control systems (LV and MV Switchgear, Panel boards and Switchboards, Motor Control

    • Centers, etc.)

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering

    • Knowledge of design standards.

    • Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), AutoCAD, databases.

    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
