Detailed job responsibilities are: Provide quality support to assigned manufacturing operations and front-end processes. Execution of quality improvement projects and assignments within the manufacturing, warranty, and front-end functions. Ensure product meets/exceeds Customer, Industry and Regulatory requirements. Interface with External Auditors, Customers, Suppliers, and all internal resources with high levels of collaboration and communication to achieve PPC goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Act as quality resource to assigned product lines and front-end processes which includes leading troubleshooting and structured problem-solving activities for quality related issues.
B. Responsible for maintaining the QMS and relevant quality documentation and processes to ensure compliance to EQMS and ISO Standards.
C. Participate in assigned product line quality meetings. Analyzes performance indicators and audit results. Provide a deep dive quality analysis to assigned product lines, management & product line support functions. Provide quality feedback & assign corrective actions to area owners to drive quality continuous improvement.
D. Train and facilitate employee development and understanding of quality systems tools and techniques such as MRB, QA Alerts, A3, NCR, DMR, PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001.
E. Deploy ECIS, and EQMS tools to improve Safety, Quality & Productivity.
F. Provide training and guidance to all areas in establishing quality control techniques for determining, maintaining, and improving the quality of manufacturing operations. Make decisions pertaining to quality, accept/reject criteria, to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
G. Provides support to manufacturing by analyzing FPY, scrap and rework data to identify key detractors then implement error proofing solutions and implement projects to reduce DPPM levels and CONC.
H. Benchmark other plants for best-in-class processes and suggest implementation opportunities and implement the best practices when applicable.
I. Define problems: classify whether CQM is a product warranty or customer responsibility and conduct timely, economical, and positive corrective action. This includes the complaint manage process, RCCA corresponding actions, 8D methodology and the updating of process documents.
J. Identify, quarantine, investigate and process non-conforming parts including determining the root cause collaborating with cross functional team members including partner site Quality Technicians, Product Engineering, Production, OPEX and Supply Chain. Deploy Quality Alerts internal/external as needed.
K. Maintain calibration for calibrated tools for assigned product lines.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required
2 year's work experience in manufacturing or quality environment
2 years' experience reading prints, drawings, and schematics
2 years' experience with in-process or product testing inspection
Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
No relocation benefits is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Wilsonville, OR will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Requirements:
Three year's work experience in manufacturing environment with focus on quality systems working with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO 9001)
Knowledge of PPC Assemblies
ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certified
ASQ Certified Quality Technician
Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt
Working Knowledge of Minitab
Knowledge of one or more of the following: Six Sigma, A3 or 8D Problem Solving, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, QMS Standards, Statistical Process Control
Project management skills
Minimum 1 year experience with team facilitation experience and ability to gain buy-in and drive change
