Champion productivity by using and mastering ELSS, EQMS, & MESH processes and general improvement activities to optimize the use of capital and human resources
Improve productivity and achieve the cost of non-conformance (CONC) objectives
Oversee the ISO 9001 and OpA certification processes to maintain certification status and eliminating/avoiding non-conformance to requirements.
Lead and manage the Capital Request Process. Design, develop, justify and guide the installation of new equipment, tooling, processes and systems through appropriate procedures with a focus on eliminating waste and generating return on investment.
Oversees and coordinates facilities and maintenance program for the Portland Power Center.
Responsible for collecting, analyzing and presenting OpEx key metrics to site's leadership team monthly
Directly supervises approximately 7 skilled employees (OpEx Technicians, Warranty Technician, Quality / Test Technicians, Security)
Qualifications:
Basic (required) qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or supply chain from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, or operations leadership, or continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment
Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
M.B.A. or Master's Degree in engineering or quality
Professional Quality certifications (ex. CQE, CQA, CMBB, CMQ/OE)
Two (2) years of previous management experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams
Prior work experience in different functions of manufacturing operations to better understand the linkages between functions, impact of functional decisions downstream, and how multiple functions work within a value stream
