    Position summary

    and improve key quality metrics: Customer ppms, CONC (scrap, rework, warranty, etc), supplier ppms, Complaints average days open, FPY, etc.
    c) Inform to top Management about the QMS performance and needs for improvement.
    d) Make sure to promote a Quality conscience on Customer satisfaction and their requirements at all levels of the organization. Ensure the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives are communicated to all employees.
    e) Insure that all QMS documentation is managed, controlled and communicated adequately (Qpulse).
    f) Insure that all internal and external audits are met. Insure all corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Make sure all measurement equipment has its respective calibration.
    g) Manage and provide the necessary resources of personnel for the Quality department and support the VSM operation.
    h) Make sure that direct reporting personnel receive the needed training to guarantee the Quality of the products and the Quality System; and also to be able to Work in a safe Environment. Promote a Safety culture and participate in activities to improve the work conditions in the facility.
    i) Identify and support projects for improvement on quality metrics, looking of the continuous improvements.
    j) Make sure to receive the proper training to guarantee the quality on the product and quality system in the organization. Manage the resources to meet the operations required for Quality.
    k) Work with all áreas in the organization to solve quality problems in order to improve the operation. Look for the continuous improvement of the operation and the Quality Indicators of the organization.

    Qualifications:

    Education level required

    • Bachelor degree.

    Years and area of experience required

    • 7-10 years experience in Quality area.

    • 5 years in managerial positions

    • English advanced

    • Valid VISA

    Technical knowledge

    ISO 9001:2015 Quality System, Eaton Quality System and EBS, Core Tools (PPAP, pFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA), Problem Solving Tools (including 8Ds), SAP (Quality Module intermediate level), Lean and 6 Sigma knowledge, Qpulse (all modules), Drawing interpretation (GD&Ts, Special Characteristics)
    Internal Auditor ISO 9001, Product knowledge and International Standards (IEEE/ANSI/IEC/ASTM)"
