• Correct paint runs, spots, and chips by sanding down imperfections before repainting.
• Adjust and periodically check all pump pressures, heater temperatures, air and fluid pressures to maintain the best possible spraying application condition.
• Perform routine adjustments, cleaning, and maintenance on equipment and the paint booth, including changing filters and maintaining cleanliness of spray booth floor areas on a scheduled basis.
• Flush equipment at every break to prevent paint from hardening in the line.
• Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
**Education level required
**• No education required
**Years and area of experience required
**• Relevant work experienced preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
**Technical knowledge
**• Works from quality and production standards and computerized winding sheets/prints to interpret coil specifications accurately.
• Perform basic mathematical functions as required.
**Physical Requirements
**• Lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without accommodations.
