• Plan and manage the electrical and mechanical engineering, drafting, and computer aided design (CAD) standards and functions for the Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Vacuum Retrofill Replacement Breaker product lines.
• Manage and oversee the definition and design of these products in accordance to applicable IEEE standards to effectively support the Company's product growth goals and related manufacturing functions.
• Manage and oversee the definition and design of these products in accordance to applicable UL standards
• Understand and follow prescribed EESS safety policies, pertaining to shop and field environments.
• Senior technical resource in product engineering continuous improvements.
• Ensures all proper documentation and standard engineering processes are followed to Eaton guidelines.
• Interfaces with customers to communicate problems and solutions while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Assess, train, and develop employees.
• Responsible for all customer specific requirements where applicable, including those referenced in the QMS manuals.
• Frequent communication with all levels of management, corporate support groups, Quality Assurance, and plant personnel.
• Review bills of materials submittal drawings, and assembly drawings

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology) from an accredited institution.
• Three to five years of engineering experience working in a service or engineering unit interacting with the direct customer and employees on a technical basis
• Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future
• No relocation offered, candidates within a 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Experience with low voltage and medium voltage breakers across all manufactures of power distribution equipment
• Must have experience working with AutoDesk Inventor, Pro-E, or Solidworks

• Applicants must successfully complete EESS safety training to operate at customer sites.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for success
• This position requires up to 25% travel anywhere in North America.
