ems Architect, you will design secure, scalable, and cost-effective architectures for the Salesforce Platform, ensuring they meet business requirements and Eaton's standards. You will engage in technical discussions, present your designs to stakeholders, and integrate Salesforce with other applications. Additionally, you will evaluate new Salesforce capabilities, provide design oversight, and ensure solutions align with strategic business and IT goals.
Design Systems that meet customer and stakeholder needs
Create Dataflow and Process mappings
Assure the feasibility and sustainability of designed Systems
Design, publish, and evolve technical Systems and reference architectures that support current and future needs
Manage non-functional requirements and compliance
Define and prioritize enablers including exploration work and technical debt reduction
Enable continuous integration and continuous delivery that enables immediate feedback and adjustment
Maintain architectural runways for a series of products within a Value Chain
Manage, track, evaluate technical capability across Value Chain to facilitate the selection and alignment of a technical System following enterprise guardrails. Execute POCs where applicable
Responsible for ensuring design meets Eaton's standards and requirements
Partner with other Architects to evaluate capabilities and features to expand the use of an existing application to meet additional business requirements
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Fluent business English; knowledge of other languages is an asset
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products
Substantial experience in the Salesforce space
Software Engineering: Extensive experience with best practices and secure, scalable applications
Salesforce: Expert in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Manufacturing Cloud
Design Principles: Proficient in design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading
DevSecOps & CI/CD: Expertise in DevSecOps, continuous integration, and deployment
Modern Development: Skilled in code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services
Cybersecurity: Knowledgeable in encryption, hashing, certificates, PKIs, threat modeling, secure coding, and OWASP
Agile Methodologies: Experienced with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
Cloud Services: Familiar with Azure, AWS, and GCP
Tools: Proficient with Jira
Communication: Advanced skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative, good judgment, and decision-making
Coaching: Patient and empathetic in coaching teams
Global Experience: Worked with diverse, global teams
