Senior Engineer-VAVE / CostOut

nd able to do the cost analysis at the components level by studying the BOM composition.

• Detailed understanding of the NPD/NPI methodologies and the design phases of the product life cycle and the deliverables at each stage of the design

• Knowledge on the global design standards like IEC,UL,CSA, NEMA or any other compliance standard.

• Modify existing product designs to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement.

• Experience in PLM system is required to get drawings and cost data ( Enovia / SAP preferred) and analyse them to generate cost effective ideas.

• Should have a strong relationship building capabilities within and outside the team, and collaborate to achieve better outcomes for Cost savings opportunities.

Qualifications:

• BE/Btech/ME/Mtech in Mechanical Engineering

• 7 to 10 years experience in industry, preferably for Electromechanical products, NPD/NPI
