Hazard Analyses (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA), and System Safety Assessments (SSA) in accordance with ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, and other relevant standards.
Ensure all design changes are assessed for safety impact and support classification of modifications.
Maintain compliance with CS 25.1309, DEF STAN 00-56, and other applicable regulations.
Provide expert guidance to engineering teams on safety-related issues.
Support certification and airworthiness activities, including engagement with regulatory authorities.
Maintain accurate documentation of all safety activities.
Drive continuous improvement in safety processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a System Safety Engineering role or similar.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of SAE ARP4754 and ARP4761.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced engineering environment.
