What you'll do:
Military Shipping experience - DD250, DAIN, AQP.
Responsible for accurate transposing of quality information from manufacturing information and spare pack slips to the Sales Order Processing (SOP) system for the production of release paperwork.
Typing manual release documentation as required.
Entering a wide variety of customer specific release documentation onto the SOP system.
Typing of export documentation, including signing, photocopying.
Entering all shipping details on shipping register.
Recording and filing of all certificates of shipment.
Contacting shipping agents to obtain flight details.
Booking collections with various couriers as dictated by customers.
Ensure all licensable shipments are recorded in the correct manner.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with shipping, import and export, preferable of military items.
Logistics knowledge would be a big plus.
6 months to 1-year similar experience.
Skills:
Shipping and export control would be advantageous
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Good general office administration skills
