Key Responsibilities
Supplier Assessment & Qualification
Lead Supplier Site Assessments (SSA) and capability audits (onsite & virtual).
Evaluate new suppliers and support sourcing decisions through feasibility and industrialization reviews.
Lead corrective action closure (CAR) and ensure robust qualification.
Supplier Performance & Capability Development
Drive improvement plans to meet quality (DPPM/DMR), delivery, and capacity targets.
Perform maturity assessments and guide suppliers through process stability and capability upgrades.
Support suppliers through escalations, performance recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
NPI / PROLaunch Support
Ensure supplier readiness for engineering changes and new product introductions (NPI).
Support APQP deliverables: PPAP, MSA, SPC, control plans, capability validation.
Partner with Engineering, Commodity Managers, Plant Quality and Global SQ.
Quality Systems & Standards
Promote and deploy Eaton Supplier Quality & Development standards across the CE/EE region.
Provide coaching and training for plant SQEs and local teams.
Ensure supplier alignment with EQMS, ISO 9001 and OpA expectations.
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial preferred).
Min. 5 years in supplier development, supplier quality or manufacturing engineering.
Expertise in at least one key process: plastic injection molding, metal fabrication, industrial assembly.
Strong command of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and supplier audits.
Proficiency in structured problem solving (8D, RCA, Ishikawa).
Fluent English + willingness to travel ~50% across CE/EE.
Preferred
Experience with LV/MV electrical components or electromechanical manufacturing.
Familiarity with NPI / launch readiness (PROLaunch or APQP).
Multinational supplier management exposure.
