    Position summary

    ns) for all the technical aspects of a tender.

    This role can be performed from anywhere in Europe and require good communications and organization of work to serve a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders while meeting agreed turn around times.

    This individual should have a good understanding and experience around the electrical infrastructure design and needs for buildings.

    Experience working on and around commerical and/or industrial projects and especially data centers is strongly desired.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze incoming RFQs (Request For Quotation) from customers

    • Ensure Eaton's offer is aligning technically with customer specifications.

    • Coordinate with sales, applications, consultants, product owners, and the wider tender team such that Eaton bids are compelling and give the customer confidence in the offer proposed.

    • Assist in preparation of costing as per standard process and tools.

    • Meet agreed timelines for tenders and keep stakeholders aware of progress, any constraints.

    • Perform technical risk and opportunity analysis.

    • At time of win - manage a smooth handover to execution teams (and support after if needed) so that scope and works needed are clearly communicated.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

    • Formal education or equivelent experince in automation for electrical systems

    • Minimum of 5 years of engineering and design experience of electrical distribution systems for buildings.

    • Experience designing and/or installing automation systems for buildings or other infrastructure projects.

    • Experience with large scale Commercial & Industrial type projects a plus as is experince with UPS type backup power environments (e.g. Data Centers).

    Skills:

    • Automation (e.g. SCADA, other control systems) knowledge for Design Configuration & Commissioning.

    • Primary & Secondary electrical power

    • Eaton or similar industry product portfolio (Switchgear, LV assemblies, UPS, etc.)

    • Strong technical (electrical, automation) and problem solving skills

    • Proven track record of achieving objectives and solving problem

    • Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication and influencing skills

    • Ability to negotiate and drive alignment on technical designs

    • Customer / people skills

    • Fluent English. Intercultural awareness.

    • A high level of personal integrity and ethics and commitment to "doing business right."

    • Occassional (< 30%) travel and on-site visits (or even support) and/or to equipment sites for customer testing.
