    We are looking for a Value Stream Manager - Mechanical Workshop to be joining our team in the Transformer Business Unit in Temelli.
    This role is based on site.

    Role overview:

    In this role, you will be guiding a Value Stream product portfolio team and you will be responsible for the defined KPI's and goals and collaborative problem-solving process if issues occur.
    The Value Stream Leader is responsible for overall management of production operations for the respective product line. Overall responsibility for supporting the manufacturing team in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals aligned with key metrics. The role coordinates with all groups to meet customer requirements. The role nurtures performance and deploys continuous improvement to achieve or exceed financial plans, employee engagement and strategic goals and it leverages resources and encourages personnel to create a high performance culture.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Support, coordinate, inspire and encourage assigned team of professionals according to Eaton Leadership Model requirements and in line with the applicable HR policy - the role will be coordinate a team of 40 -50 people in roles such as: material planner and expeditors, scheduler, operations and has functional responsibility for order management and customer order engineering.

    • Be involved in Operations Assessment OpA, Eaton Business System EBS, Continuous Improvement framework CIF and Strategy deployment.

    • Foster accountability and efficiency within the Value Stream and a 'one team culture' to deliver the required output.

    • Work in tandem with the pre-order team to ensure we sell the most cost-efficient products and service. Standardization where possible, material supply chain.

    • Manage the factory load by planning and delivering work package on time and complete.

    • Facilitate the Value Stream SIOP process to maximize factory efficiency. Contribute to monthly Supply Planning meeting during which, in close co-operation with all stakeholders the final supply plan (materials, capacity and inventory) for product line for the next 12 to 18 months, including action plan to meet demand, is defined.

    • Define the continuous improvement in process and systems required to maximize effective work practices.

    • Work with the relevant stakeholders to deliver the correct values/supply chain solution for future growth.

    • Secure that Operational processes are in line with applicable regional, national, divisional and/or corporate guidelines, procedures, law and regulations and have these actively audited and monitored by means of available systems (EHS ELS, QA and Industrialization).

    • Secure that metrics (leading and lagging) and review processes are in place. Lagging should include for everyone in value stream TRCR, OTP, DOH, Flex Productivity, Rework, Manufacturing Profit (change management) and Forecast accuracy.

    • Encourage change and improvement, assess proposals of subordinates as well as to propose change or improvement of processes to higher management.

    • Ensure timely and correct reporting to manager in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines and ensure recording and traceability of data.

    Qualifications:

    • We are looking for a dedicated candidate who likes to be in an Operations environment and has a continuous improvement mindset.

    • Bachelor's/University Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Technical Business Administration or equivalent

    • Knowledge and experience in Mechanical Workshop (welding & painting)

    • Between 3 and 8 years of experience in leading a production or assembly department

    • Empowering capabilities in leading a team

    • A very good communicator

    • Fluency in English language
