What You'll Do :

The Branch Network Engineering team at Edward Jones is searching for an experienced Network Automation Engineer. This role will work with a cross functional team in supporting and advancing Branch network technologies in an automated first approach to support our growing financial services organization. Responsibilities will include engineering network infrastructure as code, developing operational efficiencies, network tools development and advancing the overall platform to support Branch technologies.

Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of :

• Actively mentor and train other associates in their area of expertise.

• Provide direction as to the effective use of technology within the Branch Network Engineering and Strategy Team.

• Provide leadership related to technical aspects of tools, methodologies, best practices and processes and standards that apply to their technical area of expertise.

• Research technical improvements and takes the initiative to communicate/implement solutions.

• Participate and represent your area in cross- functional groups.

• Communicate issues and problem resolutions with all affected stakeholders, business areas, and vendors.

• Research requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, benefits, or functional requirements.

• Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources**.**

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Maximum: $164262

What Experience You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience working with enterprise network solutions, to include cloud and on-premises networks (Azure, AWS, etc.), including experience with:

  • Automation and scripting in an enterprise network environment.

  • Network automation solutions including CI/CD tools such as CloudBees, GitOps, Jenkins, Docker, Helm charts, and Twistlock.

  • FastAPI and associated technologies.

  • Network engineering technologies, including shared services such as firewalls, application load balancing, DNS / DHCP and Wi-Fi. technologies.

  • Agile / Scrum environment leveraging Jira and other agile methodologies.

  • Meraki, VeloCloud, CradlePoint, Fortinet, platforms.

  • Managing and working with Linux platforms.

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday
