3. Backup and Recovery: - Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. - Perform regular backups and recovery tests to validate strategies. 4. Security Management: - Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. - Manage user access and permissions to ensure data security and compliance. 5. Maintenance and Support: - Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including patching and upgrades. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues. 6. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures. - Generate reports on database performance, usage, and capacity planning. 7. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with application developers to optimize database interactions. - Collaborate with system administrators to ensure seamless integration with other IT systems. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their database needs. 8. Exadata Administration: Manage and maintain Exadata systems, including incident management, change management, and problem resolution. 9. Exadata Infra Patching: Manage patching of all levels of Exadata infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
Extensive experience with Oracle database versions [specify versions, e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c].
Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) is preferred
