Security Engineer

Responsibilities:**

• Manage security solutions within the AWS cloud environment.

• Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability tests to identify and mitigate potential threats.

• Design and implement robust security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of data and infrastructure.

• Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing timely and effective resolution.

• Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and countermeasures, particularly in cloud computing and AWS services.

• Provide expert guidance and leadership on cloud security matters to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Document all security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience as a Security Engineer, with a strong focus on cloud security and extensive experience with AWS.

• Solid understanding of cloud architecture and security principles, with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance measures.

• Proficiency in deploying and managing security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.

• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to cloud security (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex security issues and incidents.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialist, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
