About the role and what you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Platform Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow platform. You will serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring the platform's stability, performance, and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and support digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Platform Administration:
Oversee day-to-day administration, health, and performance of the ServiceNow platform.
Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and permissions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
Configuration & Customization:
Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules (TPSM/CSM/ITSM, ITOM, SAM).
Develop and maintain business rules, UI policies, workflows, and data policies.
Upgrades & Patching:
Plan, coordinate, and execute platform upgrades and patches.
Conduct impact analysis and regression testing to ensure platform stability post-upgrade.
Governance & Best Practices:
Establish and enforce ServiceNow platform governance, standards, and best practices.
Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with process owners, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Provide advanced technical support and guidance to junior administrators and end-users.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to optimize and automate processes within ServiceNow.
Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.
Required experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring ServiceNow in a large enterprise environment.
Proven experience with multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM).
Experience with ServiceNow configuration and integrations.
Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required).
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (preferred).
ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
Other skills:
Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and security model.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
