About Role

Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction: Lead client meetings and serve as a steadfast advocate for their success, empowering them to achieve outstanding results.

• Requirement Analysis: Gather, document, and analyze both business and system requirements. Ensure business needs are translated into testable criteria by validating solutions to confirm alignment with requirements and ensuring they deliver measurable value.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, development teams, and QA teams to synchronize deliverables with overarching business objectives.

• Process Facilitation: Facilitate meetings, conduct discussions, and deliver presentations that ensure clarity and alignment among all parties. Perform gap analysis and propose solutions to refine and enhance business processes.

• Technical Expertise: Leveraging data analysis of business requirements utilizing strong analytical skills to complement application analysis and testing capabilities. This expertise is crucial for ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into testable criteria and that solutions deliver measurable value

• Technical Leadership: Take on technical leadership roles in projects focused on testing modernized code, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Problem Solving: Ensure systematic analysis of challenges and the proper implementation of code corrections and enhancements.

• Mentorship: Provide consultations and valuable learning opportunities to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a business analyst and testing information technology applications

• Expertise in documenting business requirements, process flows, and use cases.

• Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, DevOps or similar project management tools.

• Expertise in both Manual and Automation testing.

• Knowledge of coding and automation is essential.

• Expertise in writing test cases and test strategies

• Knowledge of legacy and modern languages or databases - Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IDEAL, Datacom, SQL, C#, Java

Preferred Qualifications

• • Problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to mentor junior colleagues on the team

  • Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience

  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure cloud technology
