    Description

    Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is looking for a dynamic and collaborative Senior Manager to lead the development of our next-generation B2B Digital Experience Platform (DXP). This role is important to lead the delivery of a new eCommerce platform to shape the future of our digital business offerings.

    You will oversee a cross-functional team of software development and quality engineering professionals, managing them through the delivery of the product roadmap. You will be supported by a technical lead and a team of accomplished engineers.

    To be successful you will need the managerial skills to organize your team combined with the managerial skills to motivate and grow your team. Equally important are your collaboration skills, as you will work with both technical and non-technical partners across the organization. If you are hoping to stay hands-on with development, this is not the role for you.

    You will report to Director, Web Applications Engineering, Partner Solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with business stakeholders to maintain a prioritized strategic roadmap. Coordinate and achieve projects, enhancements and support.

    • Support the design and delivery processes and strategies that will support a secure, high availability, enterprise system: CI/CD delivery pipeline, automated testing, real-time monitoring and alerting

    • Lead a global team of developers, architects, and QA engineers, while remaining "in the weeds" with solution design and delivery.

    • Promote best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, governance, security, and technical documentation to ensure compliance.

    • Integrate Salesforce with Experian's broader ecosystem using Mulesoft, APIs, and event-driven architectures to allow near real-time data flow and automation.

    • Stay current with Salesforce roadmap, releases, and latest trends to enhance platform capabilities.

    • Optimize system performance and scalability, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.

    • Collaborate across multiple time zones with global teams and stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.

    • At least 10+ years of experience in a software development capacity.

    • At least 3 years of people management experience.

    • While not required, a deep background in Salesforce would be an excellent foundation for this role.

    • Experience managing a project from RFP to SOW to production.

    • Experience with back-end or front-end web development and related skills, including SOAP & REST services, object-oriented design, Salesforce Apex & LWC, JavaScript, etc.

    • Experience with Jira and other Atlassian tools for Agile/Scrum lifecycle management

    • Experience of DevOps and CI/CD, automated test and build tools

    • Experience working with distributed teams across geographies and time zones. Experience with Product Oriented Delivery.

    • Experience with eCommerce portals is beneficial.

    • We are a heavy AWS environment so experience in AWS is beneficial.
